I don’t know if it’s age, and if age has a WHOLE lot to do with risk aversion, but I’m not sure if I want to do coasters as much anymore these days.
Likewise, I’m not sure if the latest tragic accident at Six Flags Over Georgia has me rethinking my plus-size fit fir harnesses and ride restraint locks.
I’m not sure if I should be hoping for either the harness system to had an issue. Or, for the unfortunate rider / victim to have been plus-sized. The only reason I hope the rider wasn’t plus-sized is that it means the ride operators were doing everything right. But, then, there could be a massive service issue.
Like I said, I don’t know what to hope for. I just enjoyed this stuff, and over the years I have become more fearful due to my own age and body-shape change.
I might keep posting on this story as I find out more and what it might mean for future rides for me.
