I’ve been on dating apps again for three weeks now. I won’t lie, I think hope springs eternal. Despite knowing better about what I should expect – I really thought (hoped?) someone would like me. Oh well.

I went to a good show. A couple of sets at The Barbary this past Saturday (June 13) in Philly. I feel like I should have taken a picture not just to document that I was there, but to also liven up posts like this. Although, I will say that I don’t know what I … Read more

I was just listening to Hasan Piker go over the drama between Akaash Singh and his wife Jasleen, and I couldn’t help but feel like I was being triggered. Triggered, in the real sense of the word. I just wanted to make a quick note about how I don’t hear the topic of “Sigma Males” anymore. I had been thinking about how many people (women included) enjoy toxic masculinity. Or, are trained / indoctrinated to look for it and see it as a sign of strength.  Now, I’m not immune from this. I … Read more

I pick up the weirdest habits from Republican bureaucratic infighters.  I remember once crafting a resignation letter after how Colin Powell crafted his to the Bush administration. Now I find myself journaling about things and happenings in my life after having never forgotten that James Comey said he took notes after crazy meetings / events. … Read more

I was giving serious consideration to becoming a CPA. I mean, I still am. But, I found out that they really need the concentration to be Accounting, not Finance. I’d have to take an another 8 (24 credit hours) of varied accounting courses.  The only other option that anyone has ever mentioned is writing / … Read more
